LoPiccolo – Salvatore J. “Joe”, 77, of Ebensburg passed away suddenly October 30, 2012 at home. Born January 24, 1935 in Brooklyn, New York, son of the late Salvatore Sr. and Elizabeth (Infurno) LoPiccolo. Survived by his loving wife, Margaret “Margie” LoPiccolo and children, whom Joe often said were “his legacy”: Suanne, wife of Mike Hamula, Grosse Ile, Michigan; Salvatore III “Sal” LoPiccolo, of Maryland; Drew (Sandy) LoPiccolo, Indiana, Pa. and Alissa, wife of Joseph Ball, Indiana, Pa. and grandchildren: Ethan and Jared Hamula; Ashley (Bill) Yeager and Joel LoPiccolo; Shane, Kristin, and Jordan LoPiccolo, Jadyn & Giana Ball; and great grandchildren: Kolten Yeager and Kaiden LoPiccolo. Joe was the owner/operator of LoPiccolo’s Pine Auto, Ebensburg since 1978. He held memberships in the Coal Country Car Club, Twin Rocks, and the Summit Lodge #312 F & A.M., Ebensburg. Joe had also served in the National Guard for many years. Private funeral and entombment at Holy Name Mausoleum at the convenience of the family, Rev. Msgr. Arnold L. Gaus, officiating. A Celebration of Life and receiving of family and close friends will be held from 5-8 p.m. Thursday evening at the Imperial Room, Ebensburg Mini Mall (downstairs).
