ONDRIEZEK – Harry R., 65, Nanty Glo, died Nov. 22, 2012, in Nanty Glo. Born Aug. 22, 1947, in Johnstown, son of the late Richard and Melda (Sunderland) Ondriezek. Preceded in death by brother, Andrew Paul; brother-in-law, William Conrad; and nephew, Andrew Paul Conrad. Survived by children, Harry Ondriezek Jr., Nanty Glo; Traci Lynn Ondriezek, Bear, Del.; and Katie (Richard) Davis, Counce, Tenn.; five grandchildren; Cathy Watson, Nanty Glo; and sisters, Diana Conrad, Mechanicsburg; and Suzan (Joseph) Popich, Nanty Glo, with whom he resided. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; aunt, Naomi Ondriezek, Nanty Glo; uncle, Muggs (Jan) Sunderland, California; and many cousins. Former owner of Ondriezek Funeral Home. He served in the U.S. Navy. Life member of Nanty Glo Fire Company. Member of Nanty VFW Post 3489 and Nanty Glo Rod & Gun Club. He helped start the Blacklick Valley Ambulance and Midget Football League in Nanty Glo. Friends will be received from noon until time of service at 2 p.m. Sunday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, the Rev. Geno Bartoletti, officiating. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Nanty Glo. Firemen’s service will be held at 1 p.m. Veterans service will be held by local veterans organizations.
