Obituary of Christian E. Hostetler

HOSTETLER, Christian E., 49, of Nolo Road, Penn Run, passed away suddenly on November 28, 2012 in Johnstown. Born February 21, 1963 in Mechanicsville, Maryland, son of Jacob I and Saloma (Byler) Hostetler. Survived by his parents of Maryland, his wife, the former Saloma Lee, to whom he was married 23 years, and daughters Maryann and Amanda, all at home. Also survived by seven brothers and sisters and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Christian was a carpenter who had been self employed for many years in the construction business, but had worked locally for Marshall Tree Service in Ebensburg. Friends will be received from 2-8 p.m. Friday at his residence on Nolo Road, Penn Run, a funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at 1796 Stewart Hollow Road, Homer City PA, 15748. Interment at Laurel Run Cemetery, Buffington Twp. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christian’s family. Funeral Arrangements are in the care of the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg.
