JACOBY – Edmond “Butch,“ 65, Ebensburg, died Dec. 6, 2012, at Conemaugh Hospital. Born Oct. 14, 1947, in Johnstown, son of the late John and Angeline (Rudolph) Jacoby. Survived by children, Jason, and wife, Annette; Brandon, and wife, Theresa; and Amber Hott, and husband, Sean; grandchildren, Austin, Kiana, Jacob, Josh and Cody. Brother of John Jacoby, and wife, Elean; Grace Sanker; and Phyllis Contacos, and husband, Sam. Edmond was a radio announ- cer on WEND (1580) in the 1970s. Graduate of Miami University and received his pilot’s license. Edmond was a former business owner of the Candlelight Restaurant and Ebensburger Motel and served Cambria County as domestic relations officer. Member of Holy Name Church. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg, where vigil wake service will be held. Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Name Catholic Church, Ebensburg. Committal, Grandview Cemetery, Johnstown.
