KULISH – Catherine “Kay”, 98, of Nanty Glo, passed away March 10, 2019. Born Nov. 25, 1920 in Nanty Glo, daughter of the late Charles and Margaret Misenko. Preceded in death by husband, Frank; son, Frank, Jr.; and daughter, Deborah “Debbie” Newcomer. Survived by sons, Dennis (Janet) Kulish; Robert (Roberta) Kulish; and Richard Kulish. Also survived by son-in-law, Daniel Newcomer. 11 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Lifelong member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Nanty Glo, where she was active in Catholic Daughters of the Americas and St. Mary’s School. Kay was a devoted and caring wife, mother and grandmother who always put her family first. A special thank you to the staff of Rebekah Manor-Portage for their compassionate care. Friends will be received from 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, followed by Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, the Rev. Leonard Voytek, celebrant. Committal, St. Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kay’s memory may be made to St. Mary’s Church.
