LINSTRUM – John H., 87, of Rebekah Manor, Ebensburg, formerly of Revloc, passed away December 23, 2012 at the Manor. Born January 26, 1925 in Osceola Mills, son of the late George and Bessie (Dunlap) Linstrum. Preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Lee Jones. Survived by cousins, Herb & Leila Danielsen, New Jersey; and Harold & Mandy Dunlap, South Carolina; as well as special friends, Suzie Thomas, Fremont and Margaret McKenrick, Anne Coleman and Gretchen Mulvehill. WW II Navy veteran. Retired auto body repairman with the former Risaliti’s Garage of Ebensburg. John enjoyed cross country skiing, and sailing. Member of the Glendale Sailing Club. A memorial service will be held at 11a.m. on Friday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, the Rev. Dr. Frank Brosius, officiating. Interment, Lloyd Cemetery Ebensburg. In lieu of flowers donation in John’s memory may be made to The Cambria County Humane Society.
