KELLEY – LaRue, 91, Ebensburg, passed away Dec. 23, 2012, at Cambria Care Center. Born June 22, 1921, in Mahaffey, daughter of the late William and Margaret (Mull) Bennett. Preceded in death by husband, Eugene L. Kelley; brothers, Ralph, Sanor, Harvey and Orvis; and sisters, Grace McAnulty, Ruth Haley and Helen Hurd. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Survived by children, Margaret R. (Edwin) McCulley, Curwensville; and David E. (Gloria Rummel)) Kelley, Johnstown; and numerous nieces and nephews. Member of Ebensburg First Christian Church. In her service to the Lord, she taught Sunday school and was a missionary treasurer for many years. She was employed as a seamstress for Kent Sportswear for many years in Curwensville, and also had worked for JoAnn Dress of Ebensburg from 1956, until her retirement in 1982. Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Mount Zion Cemetery, Mahaffey, the Rev. Frank Brosius, officiating. Arrangements by Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Ebensburg.
