BUFFONI – Winifred, 94, Pittsburgh, formerly of Ebensburg, died Dec. 10, 2012, in Pittsburgh. Born March 8, 1918, in Conemaugh, daughter of Robert and Sarah (Little) Mitchell. Preceded in death by parents and husband, John. Survived by son, John, married to the former Regina (Krumenaker); and granddaughters, Jessica Lee, Lynn Anuncieta and Samantha Jean. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Life member and past president of the VFW ladies auxiliary Post 4963, Ebensburg. Lifelong Steelers and Pirates fan. Friends will be received from noon until time of funeral service at 2 p.m. Friday at Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg, the Rev. Monsignor Arnold L. Gaus. Committal, Holy Name Cemetery, Ebensburg.
