BEHE – Kenneth Joseph, 68, Cresson, died Jan. 6, 2013, at Select Specialty Hospital, Johnstown. Born Oct. 30, 1944, in Lilly, son of the late Kenneth M. and Kathleen (McIntosh) Behe. Preceded in death by brother, Vincent, and grandson, Tyler Montgomery. Survived by wife, Gail Ann (Claar), whom he married Nov. 5, 1983; siblings, Tom, Lilly; Judy Lynch (Jim), Gallitzin; Rogers “Pouch,” Lilly; Joan, Lilly; Bonnie Shable (Jim), Lilly; Debbie Trently, Hazelton; Connie Reed (Mike), Carrolltown; Donald “Zeke,” Lilly; Jennie Behe (Chris), Hollidaysburg; and Mark (Betty), Lilly; granddaughter, Alyssa Montgomery, Cresson; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved black Lab, Colby. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Retired from Cresson Steel Co. in 2006. Served on Cresson Borough Sewer Authority for over 10 years. Received the first Volunteer of the Year Award presented by the Cresson Chamber of Commerce. Friends received from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Charles M. Kennedy Funeral Home, Cresson. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Cresson Alliance Church, Pastor Gary Shingler. Interment, Mount Moriah Cemetery, Blue Knob.
