KUPCHELLA – Margaret Marie (Buoite), 91, Nanty Glo, died Jan. 11, 2013, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Dec. 23, 1921, in Nanty Glo, daughter of the late Valentino and Eugenia (Bombassi) Buoite. Preceded in death by husband, Charles; son, Philip; and sisters, Helen (James) Kovach, Mary (Frank) Ciszek, Lydia (Andrew) Bezek, Dina (Donald) Woodling and Pia (Charles) Kovach. Last surviving member of her immediate family. Survived by sons, Dr. Charles E. (Adele), Ebensburg; Dr. Thomas (Carol), Nanty Glo; James (Jan), Vinco; Dr. Lawrence, Nanty Glo; and Dr. Eugene (Dr. Regina), Southmont; grandchildren, Rick (Leslie), Jason (Stacy), Michele (Bryan) Adams, Tracy (Michael) Mellion, Karen (Tom) Waltz, Dana (Paul) Healy, Nicholas, Sam (Megan), Jessica (Adrian) Ranck, Arlene, Julie, Natalie and Stephen; great-grandchildren, Montanna, Cameron, Loren, Sydney, Tommy, Logan, Nathan, Ty, Caroline, Elizabeth, Kyle, Cory, Griffin, Julia and Quinn; special niece, Bernadette; and many nieces and nephews. Member of St. Mary’s Church, Nanty Glo, where she was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and sang in the choir at former St. Charles Church, Twin Rocks. Member of the Democratic Women’s Committee and followed local and national politics daily. Margaret loved to bake and was noted for her cinnamon rolls. She also loved to garden and sitting on her sun porch. She was a crochet and knitting specialist and taught others the art. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, where liturgical wake will be held Monday. Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary’s Church, Nanty Glo, the Rev. Father Martin A. Cingle, celebrant. Interment, St. Charles Cemetery, Twin Rocks. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Nanty Glo Fire Company or Nanty Glo Recreation Authority.
