WENTZ – Lloyd W., 83, of Ebensburg, passed away March 11, 2013 at home. Born October 23, 1929 in Pavia, son of the late Joseph A. and Margaret Mae (Kensinger) Wentz. Preceded in death by brothers Merle, Nelson, Joseph “Bud”, Wilbert “ Tony”, Robert and Richard; and sisters Ertie, Shirley, and Erma. Survived by sister, Anna Jean Kelly, Ebensburg; sister-in-law Marie Wentz, Virginia; and numerous nieces and nephews. Retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp, Johnstown, where he was employed in the car shop. A Korean War Army veteran, he was a member of the Ebensburg Post 363 American Legion, Post 4963 VFW, and the Ebensburg L.O.O.M. He enjoyed the great outdoors and walking. Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m., until the time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, Rev. Dr. Frank Brosius, officiating. Interment with military graveside rites at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Pavia, Pa.
