DUSZA - John "Bones," 89, formerly of Vintondale and Phillipsburg, died Aug. 4, 2005, at Hollidaysburg Veterans Home. Born Feb. 29, 1916, in Vintondale, son of the late Rudolph and Helen (Horvath) Dusza. Preceded in death by brother, Louis; sisters, Elizabeth Belk, Helen Hardisty and Theresa Boykin. Survived by brothers, Stephen Dusza, Vintondale; Nicholas Farkas, and wife, Virginia, Carroll Valley; sisters, Margaret "Toots" Farkas, Vintondale, and Mary Martin, Nanty Glo. Member of SS. Peter & Paul Church, Phillipsburg, and the Vintondale Firemen's Club. John was a self-employed truck driver. Army veteran of World War II. Friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, where a Liturgical wake will be held Friday. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at SS. Timothy and Mark Chapel, Vintondale, Father James H. Conrad, STL, celebrant. Interment to follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Twin Rocks.
