Orgis - Edmund S. "Buch", "Eddie O.," 85, Colver, died August 14, 2005 at the Country Manor in Jerome. Born January 10, 1920 in Madera, son of the late Jacob and Agnes (Krysiak) Orgis. Preceded in death by brothers: Joseph, Emmanuel, Anthony, Hubert, Frank, and Stanley; sisters: Stella, Helen, and Victoria; son-in-law William R. Clark, and grandson Jack Polinsky. Survived by wife, the former Amelia Becquet, to whom he was married 64 years; and children: Marie Polinsky, Ebensburg; Donald Orgis, Revloc, Ronald Orgis, Ebensburg, and Rita Clark of Richland. Also seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Brother of Sylvester, of Bolton, Ohio and Edward, of Clearfield; Mildred Lash, and Agnes Rusnak, both of Phillipsburg. Member of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Colver. Retired from Bethlehem Mine #32 and member of U.M.W.A. Local #850. Member of L.O.O.M. #621, Colver Slovack Club, Sons of Italy and Colver Volunteer Fire Company. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, Tuesday, at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, where a vigil prayer service will be held. Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday at Holy Family Church, Colver, the Rev. Fr. Bernard Grega, celebrant. Committal at Holy Family Cemetery, Colver.
