PLUMMER - Maureen S., 69, Sidman, passed away Dec. 10, 2013, at Windber Hospice. Born Feb. 2, 1944, in March, England, daughter of William and Nora Reynolds. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Richard R. Dick Plummer; and sister, Pam Turner. Survived by sons, William Plummer, and companion, Jen, Summerhill, and Matthew Plummer, Sidman, and grandchildren, William F. Plummer Jr.; Joshua Plummer; and Zachary Miller. Formerly employed by Portage Bank, Heirloom Furniture, Plummers Feed Store and Santas Place and retired from HRSI as finance specialist. She enjoyed going to Rehoboth Beach, walking on the board walk and the fish and chips because it reminded her of England. Also knitting, reading, baking and her German shepherd, Daisy. Donated time and money to veterans organizations, St. Jude s Hospital, the Humane Society and Holy Name Church. Viewing will be private, but family and friends are invited to attend the funeral Mass that will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at Holy Name Catholic Church, Ebensburg, Monsignor David Lockard. Committal, St. Michael Cemetery. Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage, is serving the Plummer family.
