JOHNSON Gerald L. Jerry, 58, Nanty Glo, died Jan. 2, 2014, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Jan. 28, 1955, in Johnstown, son of the late Walter and Dorothy (Rager) Johnson. Survived by son, Jared Johnson; and his mother, Karen; daughter, Fern Krug; and brothers and sisters, Kenneth Bud (Adele) Johnson, Mundys Corner; Ellen Sis (Jon) Jacoby, Cramer; Adam (Betty) Johnson, Fredericksburg, Va.; Alfred Pick (Linda) Johnson, Mundys Corner; Sandy (Richard) Croyle, Nanty Glo; and Robert Bob (Maggie) Johnson, Mundys Corner. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Jerry was the owner and operator of Ebensburg Radiator. Member of Jackson Township Rod & Gun Club; was on the board of directors for REA; volunteered at Nanty Glo food pantry; was head of maintenance with the DEP in Ebensburg; liked to hunt and fish; and was always tinkering in his shed. Jerry was a longtime leader for the Jackson Township 4-H Club. At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date. Arrangements in care of Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc.
