PRATT Brian A., 59, Cresson, died Jan. 15, 2014, at Altoona Center for Nursing Care. Born Sept. 23, 1954, in Johnstown. Preceded in death by mother and stepfather, Betty and William Stombaugh. Survived by wife, Rose (Trexler), whom he married June 4, 1977; children, Sarah Miller (Shane), Enola; Benjamin, Cresson; and Bethany Vinglas (Scott), Altoona; cherished granddaughters, Addisyn Lauren Vinglas and Olivia Rose Miller; and beloved dogs, Micah and Murphy. Brother of Wayne Pratt (Susan), Cresson; Cheryl Pratt, Altoona; Deborah DeLaCruz (Roger), Galveston, Texas; Darren Stombaugh (Lisa) and Greg Stombaugh, both of Frederick, Md.; Sherry Atwood, Texas City, Texas; and Corey Stombaugh (Janet), Cresson. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. Brian was a well-respected customer service representative at Veeder-Root Co., Altoona, with 18 years of service. He liked to fish. Friends received from 9 a.m. until time of service at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Charles M. Kennedy Funeral Home, Cresson, Pastor Rick Clark, officiating. Military rites by Cresson American Legion, Sankertown VFW and other local veteran organizations. In lieu of flowers, Brian would appreciate donations to Home Nursing Agency Hospice, 118 Ebony Road, Ebensburg, Pa. 15931, to show his appreciation for their wonderful care.
