SPRINGER Marcia, 81, of Ebensburg, passed away April 24, 2014 at home. Born November 8, 1932 in New Jersey, daughter of the late Vincent and Helen Cecelia (Kirsch) Springer. Preceded in death by sister Madelon (Max) Oliver and nephews Mitchell and Mark Oliver. Survived by niece Marcia (Regis) Noll, Boiling Springs, Pa; nephews Michael (Bonnie) Oliver, of Cary, North Carolina, and Matthew, of Carlisle; and numerous grand nieces and nephews. A member of Holy Name Roman Catholic Church. Marcia served as Assistant and Head Librarian of the Ebensburg Free Public Library for many many years. She had a great sense of humor, loved her family and loved her cats. Friends will be received from 4-8 p.m., Sunday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, where a vigil prayer service will be held Sunday evening. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Holy Name Church, the Rev. Msgr. David Lockard, celebrant. Private interment at St. Benedict s Cemetery, Carrolltown. To celebrate Marcia s love of animals and love for her library, donations may be made to the Cambria County Humane Society, 743 Galleria Drive Ext., Johnstown, Pa. 15904 or Ebensburg Free Public Library, 225 W.
