RUFFING Anna, 95, Allegheny Township, Loretto, died April 24, 2014, in Armstrong Township, Indiana. Born April 18, 1919, in Donelly, Pa., daughter of Joseph and Mary (Matus) Prostejovsky. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Charles H. Ruffing; brothers, Joseph and William Prostejovsky; sisters, Mary Portash and Julia Vandzura; and granddaughter, Sandy Ruffing. Survived by children, Charles, married to former Eileen Byrne, Indiana; Carol, wife of George Marcinko, Davidsville; and Linda, wife of Dave Folan, Johnstown; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and special friends and neighbors who enabled Anna to live in her own home. Formerly employed by the Francisian Mission Store, Loretto. Member of the Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel, Loretto. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg, where vigil wake service will be held Sunday afternoon. Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Monday at Basilica of St. Michael the Anchangel, Loretto, the Rev. Msgr. Timothy Swope. Interment, St. Michael Cemetery, Loretto.
