AMBRISCO Beverly J. (Stoltz), 69, of Ebensburg, passed away April 30, 2014 at home. Born July 10, 1944 in Patton, daughter of the late Leo F. and Matilda M. (Nagle) Stoltz. Preceded in death by sister Eileen, brothers Norman, George, Robert and L. Duane Stoltz, sisters-in-law Betty (Luzier) Stoltz and Robert (Link) Stoltz, and brother-in-law Joe McCauley. Survived by husband, Joseph Ambrisco, to whom she was married 44 years; and children: Shawn Philip Ambrisco, Weeki-Wachee, Florida and Ronda Lynn (J. Scott) Suarez, Clearwater. Bev was a loving Baumba to her only granddaughter Madison Ann Suarez. Also survived by brothers & sisters: Veronica Blake, California; William E. Stoltz, Chest Springs; Francis X. Stoltz, Akron, Ohio; Janet McCauley, Sterling Heights, Michigan; Donna (John) McCauley, Lancaster; John Allen (Brenda) Stoltz, Glen Burnie, MD; Shirley Cox, Johnstown; and Norma Jean (Thomas) Grant, of Ebensburg. A member of Holy Name Roman Catholic Church. She had served as a substitute teacher at the former St. Monica s Parochial School and volunteered as a CCD teacher. Special thanks to Beverly s caregiver and friend for over four years, Joyce Eckenrode and also to the Home Nursing Agency Hospice for their kindness and help. A Private Funeral Service will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Beverly s memory may be made to the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Arrangements are in the care of the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg.
