GRAHAM, Pluma D., (Bracken), 84, of Ebensburg, lost her short battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia on November 2, 2014 at Miner s Medical Center. Born April 21, 1930 in Cardiff, daughter of the late Jesse and Julia (Somogyi) Bracken. Preceded in death by husband Robert G., who passed in 1993; sister Betty Perkins and infant sister Ethel. Survived by daughters: Kandice DeRubis and special friend, Patrick Lauer, Ebensburg; Carol, wife of Paul Przybocki, Northern Cambria; and former son-in-law, Dominic DeRubis, Ebensburg, whom she loved dearly. Loving grandma to her grandchildren: Melissa (Sam) Stevens, Vanessa (Marcus) Bowles, Julie (Chris) Spinozzi, and Michael Przybocki. Fondly known as GiGi to her great grandchildren: Sam, Dom, Lauren, Megan, Nate, Nick, Anderson, and Zoe. She is also survived by siblings: Mary Jane (Henry) Reiland, Zephyrhills, Florida; James (Florence) Bracken, Nanty Glo; Donald (Paulette) Bracken, Strongstown, and Patricia Bracken, of Ebensburg. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She gave her daughters such unconditional Love . Former employee of the former Schettig s Hardware Store in Ebensburg for 20 years. A Life member of the VFW Ladies Auxillary #4963, Ebensburg. Active and life-long member of the Ebensburg United Methodist Church and member of the United Methodist Women s Organization. She loved her Gospel music, casino trips, bingo and challenging Scrabble games with her family and no one was a more devoted Pittsburgh Pirates fan than Pluma! Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Tuesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday at the Ebensburg United Methodist Church, the Rev. John R. Virgin, officiating. Interment at Lloyd Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Pluma s memory may be made to the Ebensburg United Methodist Church.
