YOUNG Maria (Persio), 51, Johnstown, formerly of Ebensburg, died Nov. 28, 2014, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born June 23, 1963, Florence, Italy, daughter of Philip and Carmella (Giangirolami) Persio. Preceded in death by parents, and brother, Michael. Survived by son, Philip Young, at home. Sister of Patrizia Romualdi, Florence, Italy; Nicholas Persio; Domenick Persio; and Gasper Persio. Also nephew, Riccardo Ravalli, Italy. No public viewing or visitation. Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Thursday at Holy Name Catholic Church, Ebensburg, The Rev Monsignor David Lockard. Funeral arrangements by Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg.
