WATT Raymond Augustine, 82, Cresson, died March 12, 2015, at Amber Hills, Ebensburg. Born Aug. 9, 1932, in Ashville, son of the late Augustine (Alvin) and Catherine (Litzinger) Watt. Preceded in death by daughter, Mary Theresa; brothers, Francis Watt and Michael McConnell; and sisters, Ruth Saltsgiver and Edna Warfield. Survived by wife, Regina T. (Craver), whom he married Dec. 27, 1952; children, Janet T. Stohon (Stanley), Katie A. Rhodes (William), Bernard R. (Karen), Kenneth A. (Christine), Shirley W. Kochara (Michael), Lisa H. McCauley (Timothy), Roger J. (Diane) and Judith C. Brady (John); grandchildren, Dana and Jeffrey Stohon; Christopher and Marcus Rhodes; Brianna Watt; Toni, Phillip and Nicole Watt; Adam, Jesse and John Kochara; Megan Becker, Kelly Young and Sean and Patrick McCauley; Raymond and Rebecca Watt; and Owen and Rhiannon Brady; and great-grandchildren, Hayden and Isabelle Stohon, Emmet Young and two expected in June and July. Also survived by sisters, Sarah McMullen and Grace Ivory; and brother, Richard McConnell. A U.S. veteran of the Korean War. Retired as an electrician for IBEW after 40 years of service. Member of St. Aloysius Parish and American Legion Post 238, both of Cresson. His greatest loves were his family, hunting and fishing. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at Charles M. Kennedy Funeral Home, Cresson, where Legion of Mary will recite the rosary at 3 p.m., followed by vigil for the deceased. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Aloysius Church, the Very Rev. Father John D. Byrnes. Committal, church cemetery. Military graveside rites by Cresson American Legion, Sankertown VFW and other local veteran organizations. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ray s memory may be made to St. Jude Children s Hospital, at the funeral home.
