STEPHENS Anna Mae, 86, Ebensburg, died April 27, 2015, Amber Hills. Born Feb. 26, 1929, in Sagamore, daughter of John and Anna (Reese) Bernosky. Preceded in death by parents; husband of 39 years, William F. Stephens; and 14 brothers and sisters. Last surviving member of her immediate family. Survived by children, Peppino Joseph (Ann) Persio, Florida; David (Maria) Persio, Florida; Patricia (Ralph) Harvey, Mineral Point; and Sandra (Dr. Mark) Hester, Georgia; 15 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Retired from the Ebensburg Center. Anna Mae s greatest joy in her life were her adoring grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she loved unconditionally and who could do no wrong. A special thanks to all the kind and caring staff of the sixth floor of Amber Hill Care Center, Ebensburg. Friends received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg. Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Friday at Holy Name Catholic Church, Ebensburg, the Rev. Monsignor David Lockard. Internment, Edwards Memorial Cemetery, Belsano. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Holy Name School Angel Fund in Anna Mae s memory.
