MYERS Kenneth J. Sr., 87, Cresson, died June 17, 2015, at UPMC Altoona. Born Dec. 14, 1927, in Logan, son of the late Kenneth A. and Mary (Kuzio) Myers. Preceded in death by brothers, David, Tom, Harry and Paul. Survived by wife of 65 years, Dorothy (Stafford); children, Kenneth J. Jr. (Rene), Cresson; Catherine Vena (Tom), Portage; and Gary L. (Barb), Cresson; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Alice, Ohio; and sisters-in-law, Arlene Myers, Colorado; and Emma and Helen Myers, both of Cresson. Army Air Force veteran of World War II. Retired bricklayer from Bethlehem Steel, Johnstown. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at Charles M. Kennedy Funeral Home, Cresson, where funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday. Interment, St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. Military graveside rites by Cresson American Legion, Sankertown VFW and other local veteran organizations.
