GUINIVAN Margaret Peg, 99, Ebensburg, formerly of Cresson, died June 17, 2015, at Rebekah Manor, Ebensburg. Born July 24, 1915, in Pittsburgh, daughter of James and Mary (Goff) Coady. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Clarence Phil ; brother, James; and sisters, Catherine Shoenfelder and Eleanor Smithmyer. Survived by daughter, Mary Lynn, wife of Jerry Stephens, Ebensburg; granddaughters, Amanda, wife of T.J. Voell, Delaware, and Lindsey, wife of Matthew McCoy, Portage; great-grandsons, Carter McCoy and Anthony Voell on the way expected any day; and several nieces and nephews, both here and in Ireland. Formerly employed by James Drug Store, St. Aloysius Church Rectory and Cresson State School and Hospital, all of Cresson. Member of Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court 680, Ebensburg. Peg was a church and school volunteer at St. Aloysius and Holy Name. Former member of St. Aloysius Legion of Mary. Peg was a super mom, fabulous grandmother and stupendous great-grandmother. She was adored by her family and will be greatly missed. Peg was a devoted Catholic and faithful servant of the Lord. Peggy s family expresses heart filled gratitude to her Rebekah Manor Wellness Community Family. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg, where vigil wake service will be held Thursday evening. Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Cresson. Committal, St. Aloysius Cemetery, Cresson. CD of A rosary Thursday evening at the funeral home.
