MARINES - Allene, 92 1/2, passed away July 2, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center, Palliative Care. Born Dec. 31, 1922 in Wehrum, daughter of the late William M. and Bernadette (McCloskey) Hunter. Preceded in death by husband, Emil J. Marines; infant daughters; son, Timothy; brothers, James, Bernard and Merle; and sisters, Velma, Marie, Doris and Genevieve. Survived by sons, Theodore B. (Delores); EJ (Jane); and Bernard F. (Rachelle). Grandchildren, Ted, Cindy, Kaci, Scott, Tim, Shane, Jessica, Ethan, Erin, Shauna and Shane. Great Grandchildren, Sammy, Teddy, Riley, Lindsay, Nathan, Tyler, Jayden, Emily, Eden, Isaac, Hunter, Blake, Braydee, Brooklynn, Bryce, Jade and Zsavior. Great Great Granddaughter, Izzy; and numerous nieces and nephews. Allene enjoyed playing bingo and was an excellent cook. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Monday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held at 11a.m. on Tuesday, Deacon Thomas Buige and Pastor Kevin McNamara, officiating. Interment, Holy Name Cemetery, Ebensburg. Memorial donations in Allene's memory may be made to St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mundys Corner.
