Obituary of Bonnie L. Zimmerman

ZIMMERMAN Bonnie L., 63, Cresson, died Oct. 9, 2015, at home. Born Oct. 18, 1951, in Cresson, daughter of the late Earl E. and Jean C. (Seymore) Wheeler. Preceded in death by husband, Donald, on Aug. 5, 1996; sister, Deborah Jean; and brother, Glenn. Survived by daughters, Laurie Smith, Middletown; and Amy Cornell (Shawn), Cresson; grandchildren, Gabrielle, Tyler and Alyssa Smith; and Devon and Donovan Cornell; sister, Pam Hughes (Skip), Cresson; and several nieces and nephews. A 1969 graduate of Penn Cambria High School, Cresson. Administrative assistant and office manager for Attorney Gerald Neugebauer, Cresson, and prior to that for Attorney James Connell, Cresson. Bonnie s life was centered around her family, and she loved going to all her grandchildren's many sports activities. Family and friends received from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Charles M. Kennedy Funeral Home, Cresson, where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Cresson, the Rev. Leo F. Arnone.
