PILESKI Joseph, 92, of Ebensburg, passed away November 10, 2015 at the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home. Born November 11, 1922 in South Fork, son of the late Eugene and Anna (Bednar) Pileski. Last surviving member of his immediate family, he is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara, two brothers and nine sisters. Survived by daughter Lisa, wife of John Brown, Ebensburg, and grandson Dr. Patrick J. (Kara) Brown, San Antonio, TX. Joe was World War II Navy veteran, the recipient of the Pacific Theater Ribbon with 2 bronze stars and the American Theater Ribbon. Retired from Bethlehem Steel where he had worked in shipping and as a labor leader. He enjoyed and played music. At his request, there will be no viewing. Entombment at Holy Name Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joe s memory may be made to the veteran s organization of your choice.
