CONNELLY - Victoria E., 92 of Nanty Glo, went with the Lord December 19, 2006. Born May 7, 1914 in Patton, daughter of the late Justin and Catherine(Zalatores) Plukas. Preceded in death by husband Thomas W. , daughter Patricia O'Hanlon, son William Joseph, grandson James, brothers Anthony, Joseph and Charles and sister Ann. Survived by children, Thomas (Betty Bartoldus), of South Carolina; James, of Maryland; Eileen (Victor) Larese, Ebensburg; and John (Caroline Tackett), of Nanty Glo. Grandchildren Darla, Thomas and Kevin; Deborah and Kelly; Christina and Victor; John and Jeffrey. and eight great grandchildren. Sister of Bernice Waters, Esther Weinberg, Agnes Seilski, John Bulot and Dolores Bulot all of the state of Indiana. Member of St. Marys Roman Catholic Church, Nanty Glo, where she was active in the choir and many other church and civic organizations. Victoria lived her life by putting her trust and faith in God and His plan. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 7-9 pm Thursday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where vigil prayer service will be held. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am on Friday at St. Marys Church, the Rev. David S. Peles, celebrant. Committal St. Marys Cemetery.
