RISALITI – Iolanda R. (Colamonico), 92 of Ebensburg, passed away December 11, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center. Born April 28, 1923 in Canton, Ohio, daughter of the late Diego and Maria (Cappello) Colamonico. Last surviving member of her immediate family, she is preceded in death by her husband Albert A. “Babe” Risaliti, Sr.; brothers: John, Phillip, Tom, & Joseph; and sisters Jean and Gloria. Survived by children: Albert Jr., (Sheri), Massillon, Ohio; Bob (Carol), Mechanicsburg; Dave (Anne), Ebensburg; Maria, of Austin, Texas; and Monica, Ebensburg. Also survived by grandchildren: Aaron, Erik, Matt, Dominick, Renee, Tony & Allison, great-granddaughter, Samantha; Babe’s aunt Theresa Risaliti, of North Canton, Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog “Buddy”. A longtime member of Holy Name Roman Catholic Church, Ebensburg, where she was well known for her rhubarb pies at festival time. She was a talented seamstress and baker who raised each chore to an art. She was also an avid Steeler and Nascar fan and enjoyed following the career of Jeff Gordon. Friends will be received from 5-8 pm on Sunday, December 20th, at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, where a vigil prayer service will be held. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am on Monday December 21st, at Holy Name Church, the Rev. Msgr. David Lockard, celebrant. Committal at Holy Name Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Conemaugh Memorial’s Palliative Care Unit or the Cambria County Humane Society.
