LoPICCOLO – Margaret M. “Margie” (Mehalko), 81, of Ebensburg, went to be with the Lord and her beloved husband on Dec. 20, 2015 at home, surrounded by her family. Born Feb. 18, 1934 in Nanty Glo, daughter of the late Andrew and Susan Mehalko. Preceded in death by husband, Joseph LoPiccolo; and brother, Andrew Mehalko. Survived by her loving children, Suanne (Mike) Hamula; Salvatore LoPiccolo; Drew (Sandy) LoPiccolo; and Alissa (Joe) Ball. Grandchildren, Ethan & Jared Hamula; Ashley Yeager & Joel LoPiccolo; Shane, Kristin, and Jordan LoPiccolo; and Jadyn & Giana Ball. Great Grandchildren, Kolten & Jacob Yeager; Kaiden & Landon LoPiccolo; Isaiah & Josiah Ellis. Also survived by brother, William Mehalko; sisters, June Monborne and Carol Mottin; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Member of Holy Name Catholic Church, Ebensburg. Co-Owner/Operator of LoPiccolo’s Pine Auto for 35 years. Margie also served as notary public in the area for many years. She enjoyed bowling, especially her bowling buddies, family and friends; cooking and spending time with her family. She was a devoted and loving mother who will be sadly missed by her loving family. Friends will be received from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, where vigil prayer service will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Holy Name Church, the Rev. Msgr. David Lockard, celebrant. Committal, Holy Name Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations in Margie’s memory may be made to The American Cancer Society.
