Obituary of Robert E. Roberts

ROBERTS – Robert E. III “Bobby”, 24, of Jackson Twp., passed away December 30, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center. Born May 10, 1991 in Harrisburg, son of Robert E II & Susan (Dixon) Roberts. Preceded in death by maternal grandfather Samuel Dixon, paternal grandparents Doris & Robert Roberts; and uncles Walter Thompson and James Roberts. Survived by wife Carrie L. (Smith) Roberts; daughter Alayna Callie Robert; parents Robert E & Susan Roberts; sister Victoria Lee Roberts, all of Jackson Twp.; maternal grandmother Estella Mae Dixon, Ebensburg; Robert’s best friend Mike Shaffer of Colver, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Also survived by Carries’ parents Joseph & Becky Smith, Jackson Twp; her grandmother Darlene Plummer, Portage, her grandparents Debbie & David Brosch, Cresson; and her siblings Ashley Marie Smith, Jackson Twp., and Corey Martin Brosch, Beaverdale, Robert was a laundry technician for Preferred Laundry Services at Cambria Care Center. He was a member of the Ebensburg United Methodist Church. A wonderful father and husband, he loved spending time with his daughter. Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, at the Ebensburg United Methodist Church, Rev. John R. Virgin, officiating.
