Scott-Caramadre - Carol (Englehart), 56, of Studio City, California, and formerly of Ebensburg, died June 24, 2005 after a two and a half year battle with cancer. Born May 26, 1949 in Johnstown, daughter of Attorney Harry A. Englehart and Mercedes (Parsons) Englehart - Pryce. Survived by her mother, Mercedes (Jack) Pryce, Johnstown; husband, Brian Caramadre of Studio City; daughter Kelly Marie Sheehan, New York City; brother Harry A. "Hud" Englehart, Chicago, Illinios; and sisters Nancy Englehart Snyder, Bowie, Maryland and Joan Englehart Rodriguez, Duluth, Georgia. Raised in Ebensburg, Carol graduated from Central Cambria High School in 1967 and was active in the former Cambria Cadets Jr. Drum & Bugle Corps. Carol began her television career shortly after graduating from Centenary College for Women in 1969. She worked as a producer and director and was a four-time Emmy winner for her work on the daytime television drama "General Hospital" Friends will be received at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, on Thursday, November 17th, from 10:00 a.m. until a brief prayer service at 11:00 a.m., the Rev. Msgr. Arnold L. Gaus, officiating. Committal at Holy Name Cemetery.
