Obituary of Constance M. Erickson

ERICKSON – Constance M. “Connie”, 67, of Ebensburg, passed away June 1, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center. Born January 18, 1950 in Colver, daughter of the late Ross J. and Virginia (Stephens) Dixon. Preceded in death by brother-in-law, Clark “Moose” Hott, and nephews: Jared Stiles and Austin Hott. Survived by son Lee Alan “Buddy” Erickson, and grandson Lee Ernest Erickson, all of Ebensburg. Also survived by step-mother, Judie Dixon, Gas Center; brother, Ross W. (Kathy) Dixon, Ebensburg; sisters: Peggy (George) Stiles; Ebensburg; Marlene (Don) Krens, Nanty Glo; and Terri (Chris) Boback, Ebensburg as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Connie was a long time member of the Ebensburg First Christian Church where she had loved to sing in the church choir. She enjoyed camping and spending time with her family. She was retired from the Ebensburg Center (State School) where she had served as a nurses aid for over thirty years. Connie was lovingly referred to as “Aunt Connie” by everyone. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Monday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, the Rev. J.R. Virgin, officiating. Interment at Lloyd Cemetery.
