Obituary of Mary Pauline Knowlton

KNOWLTON – Mary Pauline, 81, of Ebensburg, passed away June 16, 2017 at home. Born Nov. 3, 1935 in Ebensburg, daughter of the late Raymond C. and Mary Pauline (Hanyok) Johnson. Preceded in death by first husband, Homer “Pete” Larimer, Jr., second husband, Earl A. Knowlton, brother, Raymond C. Johnson, Jr., and an infant sister, Catherine. Survived by children, Peter James Knowlton; Thomas Raymond (Shari) Knowlton, Steven (Kathy) Knowlton; and Pamela (Robert) Ernest. Grandchildren, Tyler, Luke, Alec, RaeAnn, Robert and Jennifer. Lifelong member of Holy Name Catholic Church, Ebensburg. Member of Holy Name Contemporary (Folk) Choir, Catholic Daughters of America, Ebensburg and Ebensburg Post 4963 VFW Auxiliary. Retired Director of Nursing from the former Laurel Crest Manor, Ebensburg. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Monday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, where vigil prayer service will be held. Funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Holy Name Church, Rev.Msgr. David Lockard, celebrant. Committal, Holy Name Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary Pauline’s memory may be made to Holy Name School Angel Fund.
