HORNER – Clint T., 34, of Pittsburgh and formerly of South Ebensburg (Portage), passed away unexpectedly August 6, 2017 in Pittsburgh. Born December 30, 1982 in Johnstown, son of Terry and Deborah (Denne) Horner. Preceded in death by maternal grandfather Joseph Denne, and paternal grandparents Russell & Louise Horner. He is survived by his parents, of Portage; his grandmother, Verta Denne, of Ebensburg; brothers and sister: Damian (Shawna) Horner, Warren, PA,; Melanie (Rob) Cortez, Rio Rancho, N.M.; and Christopher (Justine) Horner, of Strongstown. Also nieces and nephews: Sloane, Peyton & Harrison Horner, and Robert & Clayton Cortez. He is also survived by his cat “Danger”. Clint was a graduate of Forest Hills High School, attained a B.A. in Sociology at I.U.P and graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with a degree in computer graphics. He was employed as a marketing manager at Peterson Brothers, Inc. in Pittsburgh. Clint enjoyed the great outdoors, kayaking, weightlifting and martial arts. He was a gifted painter and an avid guitar player. Friends will be received from 12:00 noon until the time of funeral service at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg. Interment at Horner Cemetery near Windber.
