RHOADES - Amelia Mae (Snedden), 91, of Nanty Glo, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2005. Born Dec. 24, 1913, in Nanty Glo, daughter of the late Allen and Elizabeth (Leonard) Snedden. Preceded in death by husband, David Rhoades; sisters, Violet Bishop and Betty Deamer; son-in-law, Don Grazier; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Survived by children, Phyllis Grazier; Richard, and wife, Barb; Harold, and wife Jean, all of Erie; Ron, and wife, Lola, Nicktown; Sandra, and husband, Eugene Adams, Nanty Glo; Karen Heidenthal, Johnstown; 34 grandchildren and their spouses; 34 great-grandchildren and their spouses; and four great-great-grandchildren. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family. Friends will be received from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, and noon until time of service at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Nanty Glo, the Rev. Carol Schmidt officiating. Interment to follow in Lloyd Cemetery, Ebensburg. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, where Amelia was a longtime member and Sunday school teacher.
