Obituary of Lois Faye Adams

ADAMS – Lois Faye (Knavel), 85, of Martinburg, formerly of Ebensburg, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Homewood at Martinsburg. Born October 29, 1932 in Lewistown, daughter of the late George and Goldie (Shaffer) Knavel. Preceded in death by husband Ralph J. Adams, who passed away August 17, 1991, and brother Ellsworth Knavel. Survived by daughters: Pamela, wife of James Dimond, Bethel Park, Pa.; and Vicki, wife of Jeffrey Freidhof, of Munster; four grandchildren: Brendan (Meagan) Dimond, Kelsey Dimond, Cory & Tyler Freidhof and two great-grandchildren: Bennett and Harper Dimond. Lois retired from the IU-8 and had worked at the Ebensburg Center (State School). She had been a full-time caregiver for her parents and her husband before their passing. She loved her faith. At her request there will be no visitation, a private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment at Richland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lois’s memory may be made to the Western Pennsylvania School for Blind Children, 201 N.
