ZADZILKO – Frances, 92, of Mt. Macrina Manor, Uniontown, formerly of Rahway, New Jersey, passed away May 20, 2018 at the Manor. Born July 17, 1925 in Elizabeth, New Jersey, daughter of the late Frank and Eleanor Sutkowski. Preceded in death by husband, Walter J.; sisters, Genevieve (Joseph) Grochmal and Helen (Leo) Vitcusky; brother, Edward (Florence) Sutkowski; and nephews, Atty. Joseph Grochmal and Thomas Pietrzak. Survived by son, Raymond J. (Mary Frances); and daughter, Judith Jackson. Grandchildren; Brian Jackson, Andrew (Megan) Zadzilko, Lara (Michael) Mercolini, and Matthew (Heather) Jackson. Great grandchildren, Louis and Helena Mercolini, Aubrey and Mya Jackson, and Ian Zadzilko. Also survived by nieces and nephews: Roberta Vitcusky, Kathy Townsend, Kathy Grochmal, Dr. Richard Grochmal and Stanley Pietrzak. Frances was an active resident of Mt. Macrina Manor and enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting; and loved going on trips to races and shows in New York City and Atlantic City. A special thank you to all the loving staff at Mt. Macrina Manor. Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg. Interment St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia, New Jersey. In lieu of flowers, donations in Frances’ memory may be made to Mt. Macrina Manor Activities Fund, 500 W. Main Street, Uniontown, Pa. 15401.
