PETRICK – Thomas J., 89, of Ebensburg, passed away Sept. 16, 2018 at Amber Hills, Ebensburg. Born Jan. 19, 1929 in Portage, son of the late George, Sr. and Anna (Podrasky) Petrick. Preceded in death by son, Jamey; two brothers; and two sisters. Survived by wife of 54 years, the former Violet McDermott; and daughter, Shelby Petrick. Grandchildren, Jeremy, Allison, Luke, Marisa, and Sarah. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Tom was a loving husband, father and grandfather. A special thanks to the staff of Amber Hills and AseraCare Hospice for their care and compassion for Tom. Friends will be received from 2-6 p.m. on Thursday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, where vigil prayer service will be held. Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. on Friday at Holy Name Catholic Church, Ebensburg, the Rev. Msgr. David Lockard, celebrant.
