GALLARDY – Gloria Regina “Jean”, 88, of Cambria Care Center, formerly of Summerhill, passed away peacefully Dec. 1, 2018. Born June 5, 1930 in Colver, daughter of the late John “Jack” and Elizabeth (Dubreucq) Malloy. Preceded in death by husband, James B. Gallardy; son, Patrick; infant son, John; and granddaughter, Keri Rosporski. Survived by children: Jim (Gloria) Gallardy; Gregory (Sandra Scaife) Gallardy; Jill (Brian) Mehall; and David (Terry) Gallardy. Grandchildren, Shadow Gallardy, Heather Savanapridi, Patrick Gallardy, Erin Bailey, Sean Gallardy, Dana Rosporski, Alex Mehall, Aaron Gallardy and Sara Klingensmith; and 12 great-grandchildren. Also survived by brother, John (Patricia) Malloy; and sisters, Kay Mock and Clairann Salamon. Jean loved playing the piano, singing, art, writing poetry, golfing and politics. Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, where funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, the Rev. Msgr. David Lockard, officiating. Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery, New Germany. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jean’s memory may be made to Grane Hospice.
