WILLIAMSON - Heather Lynn, 48, of North Beach, Maryland, formerly of Ebensburg, passed away April 28, 2019. Born December 7, 1970 in Johnstown, PA, daughter of Donald “Ivy” Williamson and Karen Fugini. Proceeded in death by paternal grandfather, Glenn M. Williamson and maternal grandparents, Bertha and Lewis Fugini. She is survived by her mother and father; paternal grandmother, Sara Williamson; sister, Danea (Justin) Koss; brother, Devon (Becca) Williamson; as well as nephews Zach & Roan Koss, Cole Williamson and niece, Olivia Griffith. Heather was a Navy veteran, receiving the rank of corpsman. She was a registered nurse receiving both a bachelors and masters degree in nursing, and was employed as the Regional Care Director of Carefirst in Canton, MD. Heather was known for her amazing sense of style, class and humor. She loved spending time with family & friends. She was passionate about her work and loved to travel and experience different cultures. Her home was a special place for her - filled with her many cross-stitch works - and was recently featured in the Twin Beaches Home & Garden Tour. At her request there will be no viewing. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m., Friday, May 3rd, at Holy Name Roman Catholic Church, the Rev. Msgr. David Lockard, celebrant. A gathering of friends will be held from 10:30 a.m., until the time of Mass on Friday at Holy Name Narthex. The family will hold a private interment at Holy Name Mausoleum, followed by a luncheon. Arrangements are in the care of the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg. In lieu of flowers, donations in Heather’s memory may be made to American Cancer Society.
