SOULSBY - James V., 83, Nanty Glo, died Dec. 9, 2005, in Hollidaysburg. Born Dec. 19, 1921, in Bakerton, son of Gerald and Myrtle (Donnelly) Soulsby. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, William, Dubray and Earl "Sonny"; and sisters, Mary Soulsby and Mae Simmons. Survived by sisters, Margaret Kreshalk, Nanty Glo, and Kathleen Koehler, Napoleon, Ohio; and nieces and nephews. Member of St. Mary's Church, Nanty Glo. Army veteran, having served in World War II. He received the Bronze Star for valor. Member of Nanty Glo VFW Post 3489 and Nanty Glo American Legion Post 619. Friends will be received Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, where a Liturgical Wake will be held Sunday. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday at 1:30 p.m. at St. Mary's Church, with the Rev. Father David Peles. Interment to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Military rites by local veterans' organizations.
