LINK - Paul "Toad," "Unk," 92, formerly of 214 E. Crawford St., currently a resident of Rebekah Manor, Ebensburg, died Dec. 20, 2005, at Altoona Hospital. Born March 27, 1913, in Patton, son of James and Philomenia (Long) Link. Preceded in death by parents; wife, the former Mary Anna; brothers, Ralph, Earl, Clement and Albert; and sister, Gertrude Bender. Survived by these children: Marilyn, wife of Jerry Winkelstein, Baltimore, Md., and Glenn, Shelby, N.C.; grandchildren, Beth Winklestein and Amy Milstone, and husband, Arron; and one great-granddaughter, Lillian Milstone. Brother of Martin, Patton, and Hazel Kelly, Chest Springs. Also survived by nephews, Merle Link, Ebensburg, and Howard Link, Westminster, Md. Active life member of the Dauntless Fire Company, Ebensburg. Member of Cambria County Firemen's Association. Member of UMWA Local #850, Revloc. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg, where vigil wake services will be held Thursday evening. Funeral Mass, 11 a.m. Friday at Holy Name Catholic Church, Ebensburg, the Rev. Monsignor Arnold L. Gaus. Committal, Holy Name Cemetery, Ebensburg. Firemen services at 7 p.m. at the funeral home Thursday evening.
