LaMANTIA - Mary (Dancha), 86, Nanty Glo, died Dec. 24, 2005, at Memorial Medical Center, Downtown Campus. Born Jan. 1, 1919, in Vintondale, daughter of the late Andrew and Annie (Petrilla) Dancha. Preceded in death by husband, Joseph J., and brothers, Charles, Peter, George and Michael. Survived by children, Mary Ann LaMantia, Asheville, N.C.; Phyllis Grembi, and husband, Michael, Ebensburg; Philip, married to the former Patricia Paese, Harrison City; Debra Sideras, and husband, John, Novelty, Ohio; and Roxanne McHugh, and husband, Robert, Ebensburg; grandchildren, Michael, Jessica, Joseph, Paula, Bryan, Nicholas, Leo, Scott and Kate; sister-in-law and second mother to Mary's children, Augusta LaMantia; brothers and sisters, Andrew Dancha, and wife, Florence, Altoona; Margaret Greaves, Union Beach, N.J.; Ann Columbus, and husband, Thomas, Vintondale; and Helen Voytas, Johnstown; and sisters-in-law, Marie Dancha, Livonia, Mich.; Flo Dancha, Derry; Dolly Dancha and Julie Dancha, both of Hatboro. Member of St. Mary's Church, Nanty Glo. Retired cafeteria worker from the Blacklick Valley School District. Friends will be received from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, where a Liturgical Wake will be held Tuesday evening. A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Church, the Rev. Father David Peles, celebrant. Interment to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
