BAROTINA - Hazel M. (Sullinger), 91, Vintondale, died Dec. 26, 2005, at Laurelwood Nursing Home. Born Aug. 15, 1914, in Summerhill, daughter of the late Clarence E. and Anna Elizabeth (Hill) Sullinger. Preceded in death by husband of 50 years, Joe Barotina; sister, Edna I. Varner, and her husband, Oliver; and brothers, Kenneth Marion, and his wife, Mabel Jane; Philip Franklin; and William C. Survived by two sisters, Helen (Paulo) Costello, Homer City, and Betty Fetzer, and husband, Dean L., Nanty Glo; numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews; two very dear friends; godmother to Shirley Fetzer and Randy A. Fetzer; and two sisters-in-law, Pearl Sullinger and Pauline Sullinger. Member of First Baptist Church, Vintondale; DAV Club; and Ambulance Service in Nanty Glo. Researcher of the family tree. Hazel was an avid gardener and housekeeper and loved to fish. Friends will be received Wednesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, where services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m., the Rev. Richard Stock officiating. Interment to follow in Lloyd Cemetery, Ebensburg.
