CAMPBELL - Mary Ellen (Walker), 71, Nanty Glo, died Jan. 5, 2006, at Memorial Medical Center, main campus. Born Dec. 10, 1934, in Nanty Glo, daughter of the late Everett and Anna (Carmel) Moody-Walker. Preceded in death by brothers, Squire Moody and Clarence "Moo" Moody and twin great-granddaughters Marissa and Gabriella Wood. Survived by children, Everett "Hoss," and wife, Johanna, Mundys Corner; Irvin "Andy," and wife, Karen; Joyce, wife of Lawrence Little III; Cindy, wife of Jim Lewis; and Robert, and wife Susan Campbell, all of Nanty Glo; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Sister of Ruth Kinash, Mundys Corner; Grace Riddle, Mogadore, Ohio; and Joyce Melius, Greenville. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; separated husband, Leroy Campbell, Altoona; and special fiend, Mae Covala, Nanty Glo. Member of Nanty Glo United Methodist Church. President of the Nanty Glo VFW Ladies Auxiliary from April 1986 to the present and District Auxiliary president from 1993 to 1994, and was very active in county and district auxiliary events. Over the years, Mary Ellen had worked at Mundys Corner Pizza Shop, Best Form Inc. and Nanty Glo Polish Club. Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Askew-Hosuer Funeral Homes Inc., Nanty Glo. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Nanty Glo United Methodist Church, the Rev. John H. Snyder officiating. Interment, Pike Brethren Cemetery, Mundys Corner.
