WALLET - Genevieve H. (Hebda), 78, Laurel Wood Care Center, Westmont, formerly of Mundys Corner, died Jan. 12, 2006, at Memorial Medical Center, main campus. Born March 16, 1927, in Jenners, daughter of John M. and Mary Ann (Olszewska) Hebda. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, John, Henry, Joseph and Theodore; sisters, Nellie Hyland and Helen Tomera; and granddaughter-in-law, Crystal (McGlynn) Wallet. Survived by sons, George J. Jr., married to the former Barbara Seaman, and John A., married ot the former Wanda Strayer, both of Vinco; grandchildren, Christopher S. "Inky," Patrick M., Mark A. and Jeffrey Wallet; great-granddaughters, Shelby, Karissa and Emma Wallet; sisters, Anna Drzal, and Florence, married to Frank Slezak, both of Johnstown, and Mary Jane, married to Kenneth Kozak, Jerome. During World War II, she was employed by Bethlehem Steel, Johnstown. She was a founding member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Mundys Corner. Retired garment worker and an avid bingo player. Viewing from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Hoffman Funeral Home -- Cremation Services, Davidsville. Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Anne Catholic Church, Davidsville, with the Rev. Father Michael Lewandowski, OFM, Conv., celebrant. Committal, Holy Cross Cemetery, Jerome. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the funeral home to help defray funeral costs.
