BUCK - Iva Marie (Trexler), 81, of Colver, died Jan. 27, 2006, at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh. Born June 17, 1924, in Chest Springs, daughter of the late Andrew and Hilda (Shoemaker) Trexler. Preceded in death by brothers, Blair, Warren and Bill; brother-in-law, Levi Mock; and sisters-in-law, Natoma Bulow and Naomi Trexler. Survived by loving husband, James, whom she married on Jan. 26, 1946, death ends a union of 60 years. Also survived by children, Carole Helsel (Butch) of Altoona, and Gary (Margaret Krug) of Johnstown; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth Mock of Ashville; and sister-in-law, Joan Trexler, Cleveland, Ohio. Retired from the former JoAnn Dress in Ebensburg, where she worked for 22 years. Iva also worked at Sylvania in Altoona during World War II. Member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Colver and Catholic Daughters. Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Ebensburg, where vigil prayer service will be held that evening. Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Mundys Corner, Father Bernard F. Grega, celebrant. Committal, Holy Name Mausoleum.
