BATOVICH - Victoria C. (Carrasco), 83, Nanty Glo, went to be with the Lord Sept. 26, 2007. Born Aug. 22, 1924, in Mexico City, daughter of the late Salvador and Anita (Perez) Carrasco. Preceded in death by brother, Dr. Eugenio Carrasco and sisters, Josefina, Maria del Socorro, Natalia, Sister Evangelina, MSST; Ana Maria and Guadalupe. Survived by husband, Edward Batovich; daughters, Claudia Batovich and Victoria C. (Major Devvon) Bradley; grandsons, Justis and Jordan; brothers, Salvador Carrasco, Father Jose De La Luz Carrasco; sisters, Magdalena, Graciela, Teresita, Luisa and Margarita; aunts, Teresa and Maria del Refugio; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial Mass will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Nanty Glo, the Rev. David S. Peles. Committal, Holy Name Cemetery, Ebensburg. Arrangements by Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Nanty Glo.
